Guess what I am doing? I am hosting Thanksgiving this year! Whoa! I think this will be the first year that I will miss out on Mom's wonderful Thanksgiving spread....and Mark will of course, miss Mom's rolls....sigh.
First thing is first. We are having a Thanksgiving dinner at church on Sunday, Nov. 19, and I am making a turkey for that, so I'll get to experiment on all my church friends first....LOL!
Thanks to my father in law, I will be headed to Kroger to pick out a FREE turkey for Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday. Thanks, Dad! I still have a few things to pick up as well for dinner that night.
Pray for me (and my family...haha) that it will all go well!
