Well, it's official!

I can't remember if I posted this or not, but I am now officially the Director of Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church's Child Development Center! After 8 months of "acting", I guess I got the role right! LOL. It's not what I would have imagined doing 10 years ago, but it is definitely where God wants me to be right now. I have had an offer to interview at a different daycare center (not a Christian one) where I could make $3-4 more, but I really don't want to move. I feel that I am in a place where I want to keep learning how to do my job better and I really love my staff right now. I couldn't ask for better right now. The Lord knows what he is doing, and I have to say that with Mark not being able to work as much this summer since April is now in public school, it is nice to have a bigger paycheck this summer and to start saving for the summer now in January. I am so pleased that God chose me for this line of work. I really feel like I can help plant seeds in these families lives and I cannot wait to see the work of the Lord cultivate over the years. I am grateful that the church trusts me and that the parents trust me. I have been told several times by parents at the center that they are glad that the church chose me.

So please keep me in your prayers on occasion if you think about it. It is a big task, I have a lot more work to do daily which never seems to get done, but I love it. Pray for my family, that they will be supportive when my days get long sometimes (like Tuesday...lol)
