your 3 year old enjoys singing the same songs as you? For April, it's track 13 on my CD that Mark made for me..."Praise Adonai" She can sing it! Paul Baloche would be proud. She really loves it and requires that it is played many times in a row in the car! She even asked me about some of the words...April asks, "Mom what does Praise Adonai mean?" -- I reply, "Adonai is one of the names for God, sweetie, and the song is a way to praise God" April asks, "Mom, what is a throne?"
That is so cool that she can listen to a song a few times, memorize it, then ask me questions about what she heard!
Today's song was "What Can I Do" by Paul Baloche and Graham Kendrick. She was singing all the "Hallelujah" parts with me.
Carl has been doing this with us for years, and has even learned how to play some of the songs on his bass guitar. Finley family sing alongs are a lot of fun in our house!

On an all together different subject, please pray for our Administrative Pastor, Tom Rooney. He had a brain anuerism on Friday, June 30, and at this writing, his blood pressure is up, and there is more pressure on the brain. His body has been put in an induced body paralysis to allow his whole body to rest. This is very serious, as he has been holding his own with some ups and downs, but his family's faith in God is not shaken. We are asking for all the prayers we can get for him and his family.
"God, we lift up Tom and Cathy and their whole family. We know that you are the author of life and you hold Tom in your hands. Lord, we trust you that you know what is best, and we lift Tom up to you. You love him more than we do, and you will take care of his situation. Lord, we ask that you please send your love and comfort to his family and that you provide for their needs. Lord, bless the doctors and nurses who care for Tom. Give them the wisdom to help him in any way they can. You hold all the wisdom, and we ask that you impart that to Tom's doctors. In the end, we know your will will be done, and for that we praise you, for taking care of all the things that we cannot here on earth. Tom is in our prayers, and in your SFGTD box...Something for God to Do, and we trust that you will handle this situation better than us all. Thank you, Lord, for loving us and sending us your Son. Lord, Jesus, you made the greatest sacrifice for us all, and for that we are eternally grateful.
In Jesus precious name we pray, Amen."
