The month of July

Wow, is it really July already? Mark just reminded me today that a week from this Sunday, he will be headed for Baltimore. This coming Monday, July 9 is two things....first, Carl will be headed to camp and second, Mark's dad will be turning 70. Carl gets back from camp on July 14th, and Mark leaves early the next morning for Baltimore. Carl, April and I will head to my parents in Houston either on Sunday, July 15 or Monday, July 16th for the week. It will be nice to have some time off from work to visit my family. Carl and April haven't seen their cousins since January. I really wish we could afford to go down more often.

God has answered another prayer for us. We really could use another car that has working A/C for this summer, and my sister just bought a new vehicle and asked us if we wanted to buy her Pontiac Sunfire. (It has A/C, but may have a leak) Mark is working on it to see if he can get it in tip top shape, but it reminds us both SO MUCH of my old Chevy Cavalier! AND we are hoping to sell our Honda Civic as is (no A/C or power steering) and we may possibly have a buyer for it already as well. God is so good all the time!

The Metroplex has had so much rain lately. We are having leaks in the sunroom with all the rain, and a few new ones crop up when the rain is especially hard. We did some rearranging in the sunroom, and with small group being this Sunday, I need to do some work on it to get it ready. I have fabric out all over the place, and Carl has Mark's comic book collection out, too. EEK! (Hope that doesn't get all wet...fabric can dry!)

I am trying to get better about this blogging. Sometimes I get too busy, but I still will keep on keeping on! Pray for my friends Marc and Marye Audet. Marc is in the VA hospital. His knees have been hurting very badly and Marye says they are giving him morphine. He is their main breadwinner and Marye is a SAHM that homeschools her 6 kids that are still at home. Pray for healing and that God would provide for their every need. He is faithful and will provide for them!!
