Carl

I am so proud of my son, Carl. He is so bright... brilliant really. He does extremely well in school considering he is an 11 year old 7th grader. Only one B on his report card, and I don't find him entirely responsible for that grade either. The rest are all A's. He placed 3rd in his division in the Science Fair at school this year.

He is also in the McDonald MS band program. He is a beginner percussionist. He is doing really well, too. As I am typing, Carl and Mark are working on his snare drum solo. It sounds difficult to me, and I can hear improvement already in his solo. I asked him could I record him playing his bells solo called "Sonatina". He said yes, and I want to share it with you. He isn't finished learning it...he has 2 more lines to go, but this is his first 7 lines of "Sonatina".
