I hope you enjoy the music player that I have added to my page. I have 2, this being my second one. This music is by some of my most favorite contemporary Christian music and artists. Each one lifts my spirit and inspires me.
Bring the Rain.... Mercy Me: Reminds me that God not only brings us blessings, but he uses the things that happen in our lives to remind us to praise him in all things... no "rain rain, go away..." We are blessed by the rain he brings us.
Word of God Speak ... Mercy Me: I love the chorus..."Word of God speak. Would You pour down like rain. Washing my eyes to see Your majesty. To be still and know that You're in this place. Please let me stay and rest in Your holiness. Word of God speak" It reminds me sometimes that I do need to be still and listen. In this oh, so busy world, slow down a little bit...let God speak to you in the still and quiet of his voice.
Praise You in This Storm... Casting Crowns: Another great one that reminds us that sometimes in our pain, in the storms of our life, that God is there. He is guiding us, molding us, shaping us, refining us, making us better. Storms aren't necessarily a bad thing.
Who Am I ... Casting Crowns: I ask this question all the time. Who am I that the Lord sent his Son to die for me? I am not special. I am a sinner separated from God, I deserve death...I deserve the pain I cause him, but he sent his Son...for me... His way of telling me that YOU belong to ME. I am overwhelmed. Thank you Lord!
Our God Saves ... Paul Baloche: I went to a vocal training thing once in which he led the seminar. I learned so much from him. He grew up similarly to me... not knowing the hymns, but his songs come from the hymns...with his own interpretation that is new and contemporary. The word to the old hymns are priceless, and he introduces them all over again to a new generation. Awesome man and awesome music. I love his music so much!
I could go through all these songs and tell you how they impact me. I worship the best when I am singing to the Lord. These songs help me through it all. They connect me to God. They remind me that God loves ME. They remind me that I need to stop and let him bless me with his Word. They remind me to be faithful to him always and to praise him for everything he has done for me. For the forgiveness and salvation he has given me. I am yours, Lord.
