This summer, April's daycare has something "special" that goes on everyday. I love whomever created these days!
Monday is pajama day.
Tuesday is Movie Day.
Wednesday is Arts and Crafts day
Thursday is snowcone day.
Friday is splash day.
If there is one thing I have learned with my 3 year old, is that these special days get April to bed on time! All I have to do is tell her that tomorrow is pajama day, and she is off doing her bedtime routine faster than you can say her name. Snowcone and splash day are her two favorites. Who can blame her? They'd be mine, too! But I think the thing I like the most is that there are no bedtime arguements when she knows that the next day is something special.
Since I work where she goes to school, I have to decide....do I wear MY pajamas tomorrow? Does anyone really want to see me in my pajamas? Ummm...nope. Well, I do get a snowcone on snowcone day (I am starting to really like Blue bubblegum...and blue teeth!) and I usually end up almost as wet as my 11-14 month olds, so I do get to "enjoy" splash day, too.
So tomorrow is pajama day....less work for me to get her ready for school! Yay!
