We left the hotel in Charlotte at about 9:00am, and headed for South Carolina to meet the Nortons at Carowinds. Actually, the park is on both sides of the border...some areas of the park are in North Carolina, some parts are in South Carolina. The park didn't open until 10am, and low and behold, look who we were one lane over from in the entry lot to the park.....
Yes, we were behind them basically in line. How perfect could that be? We had our tickets and parking pass printed out in advance , so we made it in, parked close to the front (a feat that never happens at Six Flags Over Texas!)
After we got inside, we proceeded to enjoy the day at the park! Here are some pictures from the day.
