After 9 years, we are FINALLY going on a family vacation! I am so excited! We will be travelling through Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana. We are stopping to see our good friends, the Abernathys in Tennessee, then on to Carowinds where we are SO excited to finally meet the Nortons in person, and on the way back, we hope to get to see Jennifer Watts, my good friend and former college roommate while on our way home. Carl's dream will come true as we visit Talladega Motor Speedway and Raceworld USA (Michael Waltrip) Should be a lot of fun for the whole family.
I hope to post blog entries and/or pictures along the way, or at least when I get home.

well, I guess I did, but it is still a very important stop as well IN TYLER, TX to see LIZ and LARRY! (And Carl's betrothed....hehe)

LOL! I just came back & found this response to my comment, Terry! Love it! I haven't told Savannah about Carl, yet. I'll probably wait til the ride to McD's to tell her. :) Call me on Monday & let me know if McD's still sounds good to you. It's right there at the Hwy. 69 exit off I-20 in Lindale. (It's technically Lindale but it's a Tyler exit, I believe.) Email me if I didn't give ya the phone numbers earlier. I can't remember.
