Day 5 was a down time day! Whew! We all needed the break to rest from the day at Carowinds. We were all tired. Jalen and April did manage to get in the pool several times that day....they weren't tired....LOL!!Day 6 took us to the North Carolina Zoo. Thanks so much to Shawn for getting us the free passes to get in, we appreciated it SO much!!! The zoo was very shady, still a lot of up and down like the Dallas Zoo, but it was really nice day. I enjoyed the zoo trip with you guys. It wasn't as hot as i thought it would be, and there was a lot of shade which was nice! Kade wants to go back again with my father just to spend a couple of hours in the bird aviary, lol. We'll see.
