Yeah, she got her camera out and started snapping then... LOL! We loved the drive down I-40 through Tennessee and crossed into North Carolina. We just loved the drive. The scenery was so beautiful. I told Mark again that sometime we really need to move out there. I can see me growing old together there....
We only made one wrong turn (well, we were depending on Mark's GPS on his phone, and we lost the signal 10 miles from the Norton's house), but we made it there. As soon as the kids opened the car door in the Norton's driveway, Carl was off with Kade, and April disappeared with Jalen! After we unloaded the car, Mark dug out the 3D sidewalk chalk we bought for the kids, and here's their artwork.
And yes, April does love Jalen....1,000,000. LOL!
Okay Mark's gonna kill me for this last one, but Kade just had to see him do it....
Sherry filled us to the gills with delicious lasagna and garlic bread sticks for dinner, and made us a wonderful cake dessert. Thanks to the Nortons for letting us stay with them again. Jalen's already told us if we go to Cook Out, he's there!

Love the photos of the Smokies! My parents are from East TN and so we spent a lot of time there as children hiking, campaing, visiting family, etc.
