I have to say this...for the money we paid to get in, we had hoped that it would take a LOT longer to go through and have a LOT more to see...we were a bit disappointed to be done in 2 hours...BUT there were some really cool exhibits. They had 3 whale sharks, the biggest shark known to man and the Aquarium has one exhibit room where the aquarium totally surrounds you...sharks, rays, fish....all swimming over and around you....that was totally cool....imagine a shadow creeping over your head and when you look up....either a HUGE manta ray or the HUGE whale shark sailing right over your head....totally cool.
Enjoy our pics from the Aquarium....

After the museum, we took off for Meridian, Mississippi, our stop over for the night. We gained an hour after we crossed into Alabama. I had a little bit of a wistful moment...we got off at exit 104 -- Rock Mountain Lake exit in Bessemer, Alabama to stop for snacks and gas. If you know anything about my family, my Uncle Fred lived off that exit when he was alive. He passed in 1992. Our brakes are grinding on the Ford, so Mark didn't want to chance the hills it took to go see the house again. It doesn't seem like it's been a year since I made that trip and took the pictures of his old house. I really miss him.
Tomorrow, we are off for home! We are stopping in Tyler, Texas to visit Liz Reeves and her kiddos Savannah, Samuel and Sarah. Can't wait to see them! and we can't wait to get home.
Thank you for following my blog. I'll probably have one more vacation day blog and then hopefully after that I'll keep up with it better.

Cool! I made the blog!! :) See ya tomorrow!
Those pictures look pretty identical to the things we saw at the SC aquarium. It was very pricey for the amount of time that we spent there as well.
You guys are on the last leg of your vacation now. I know Anna will be happy to see you all soon :)
